New camera frustrations
Well, I got a new camera last week. It is nothing fancy. Our camera died on us and left me with great anxiety. Isn't it true that you find all of these great photo opportunities when you DON'T have a camera? We found a good, not great, camera at T*arget and so far I am happy with everything except getting the pictures onto the computer. I'm thinkin' I might need to read the book. Ugh! It is very similar to our old camera so I thought it would download the same....I was wrong. Oh, in case you are wondering, we got a Canon Powershot A720. It has 8.0 mega pixels and a 6X optical zoom. (whatever all of that means)
Anyway, all of this to say that I have some great snow pictures that I was going to share with you, but they are stuck on my camera. :-( Hopefully I'll get them up sometime today. Hope you had a good weekend!

you'll have to tell me what you think of that camera...i've been thinking my next would be a canon powershot.
hope you figure it out- without having to read the directions:0)
Canons are supposed to be really good! Hope you figure it out...I love seeing all the pics that you post.
"It has 8.0 mega pixels and a 6X optical zoom. (whatever all of that means)."
It means once you figure out how to upload your photos to your computer, you will see INCREDIBLE shots. It also means you can print 8x10 photos from your photo printer without the pictures looking grainy. :-D
I'm with ya on the "whatever that means" part of cameras. As long as the pic looks good, I don't care how many pixels I have! Can't wait to see the pics. It was great having lunch with you all yesterday (even though we felt awkward). Its so nice for us to be included in your IMMEDIATE family!!!!
I have a CANON Powershot...although last year's model I am assuming. Not as many mega pixels and only 4X optical zoom. I like it...
I hope you figure it out though...no pictures is no fun!!!
You have a great camera! I can't wait to see the photos. I think you'll love that camera. I really like my Canon.
