I can hardly wait to get the tree up every year. (this year I didn't do very well, I put it up mid November) :) It is my favorite Christmas decoration. The kids always enjoy helping me decorate it.
We have garland, lights, and candles on the entertainment center.

My hutch with Christmas mugs, a gingerbread house, snowmen plates, and a beautiful hand painted Christmas plate I got from my mother-in-law last year.
I got this lighted snowman in a barrel at a craft show last year and I absolutely LOVE him! I put him out in November and leave him out until the end of February.

Everything looks so pretty.
I have that same hutch as you, but I don't have the top part to it.
??? I may have to purchase that piece so I can display plates and other things like you.
I also like your lights and garland on the top of your entertainment center.
