Let it Snow. Let it Snow. Let it Snow.

We got 6+ inches of white, fluffy snow on Saturday. It was so cold and windy that the kids just watched it from the window until at last, at about 4:00 the snow and wind stopped. I bundled everyone up and they had a blast jumping in the fresh, fallen snow. To kids there is nothin' better than the first good snow of the season.
Hunter was diving head first into the snow and loving every minute of it!
Brylie just ran around the yard laughing and giggling!
Gage spent most of the time in this position. The snow was so deep that his little legs had trouble trudging through it. :)
While the kids were sipping hot chocolate, I had to deal with this mess. Ugh!

it's so worth it to them...i just wish they didn't think that mom had to be out there the WHOLE time too!

My kids were so mad at me. We were too busy to play in the snow and this weekend is going to be just as busy!!! UGH!

That's the part I don't like either..the wet snow clothes. There just isnt a perfect place to hang them to dry. Looks like your kids had a great time. Kale and Nikia enjoyed being outside that day too..running around on the 4-wheeler.

I have to tell you I was shocked to see Robb last night. I had no idea he was going to be a ref. He did a great job. I hope the worst heckling he ever gets was what his good buddies gave him last night. I guess they felt like they had to break him in or something.

I don't like the wet mess of clothes either. The kids always want help getting out of their wet clothes. Yuck!

I always hated the drama of getting them all dressed up to go out and then have to deal with the wet (and sometimes muddy)mess that came back in with them!

Gotta just love that first snow of the season...especially with young kids!
