We are home!!

I am so sorry that you have all had to wait to hear about Ruby. I tried several times to update my blog while in Ethiopia, but I could never get it to work. Thank you all so much for the prayers, they were felt. We had a very blessed trip and were able to come home early. We left Ethiopia on Friday night and arrived in Sioux Falls yesterday afternoon. We missed our other kids terribly and were so happy to be able to get home 3 days early. I will post a couple pictures of Ruby that my sister took and share more later. Of course we have so much to share about our trip and about Ruby, we are just tired and trying to get caught up on things at home. Our little girl is absolutely perfect and the transition went wonderfully.

Oh, Praise the Lord!!! She is a miracle sitting right in your arms. And that smile....wow!

Can't wait to meet her in person. If you stop by grandpa's house, please come by and let us take a peek at her too (when she's up for it, of course)!

Congratulations to you all!

I can't wait to see your kids reaction via photos! They must be so incredibly excited?!!
I think I'm going to start researching the avenue that you guys took. It has been on my heart to adopt out of Africa for as long as I can remember...it's something I've always carried inside of me...you've inspired me to start looking and searching it out...maybe it IS time for us now...we'll have to see what the Lord has to say about it.
I pray that things go well for you and your family!
God Bless you all richly!!
Heather
