The first time we saw her face

Here are some pictures of the morning after arriving in Ethiopia. This was the day that we had waited for for so long, the day we met our daughter.
The hand off.
FINALLY! I think she likes her mommy! Oh that face is so cute! She thinks her daddy is silly! :) I'm showing her pictures of her big brothers and big sister. We looked at this album several times while in Ethiopia and she would just stare at the pictures. Thank you God for this precious child!
Three of the 4 kids have come down with a flu bug so we are sleep deprived and barely hanging on....but life is good, we have all of our children home together! (Hunter is the healthy one)

I was just looking back to when you started down this path to Ruby..it looks like it was 8 months! That's shorter than a pregnancy would have been but a whole lot different and very difficult at times I'm sure! wow...congratulations ~by the way!

I am with Amber I can't get enough. More more more when every one is not sleep deprived and ill. Get better soon. I will be praying that everyone get healthy and some sleep. And I am still working on your gift when I get time. I have had a busy last couple weeks. We have a new baby in my family too. My brother and his wife had one last week, then my other brother and his fiance got married. So lots going on.

Oh No! Here we were going to stop by this last Monday after the t-ball game to see Ruby but decided to wait. I hope you all feel better soon! That little Ruby is just a gem (no pun intended). I had tears in my eyes looking at the pictures as I'm sure you and Robb did finally getting to see her! I know you have waited a long time and so glad you have shared your journey with everyone. You will def. need to print out all the pages of your journey and put it in her baby book. So glad you guys are home and your family is complete! She is a wonderful addition to the family. Welcome Home Ruby and welcome to the Arnold Heritage. Its a wonderful one!!! I bet Gr. Arnold can't get enough of her!!!

Oh no! So sorry to hear your kids are ill. I hope they can kick it quickly and that Hunter remains healthy. That is the worst thing to experience while recovering from jet lag, trying to unpack and being up at night with a baby. We got somehow got through it, and I know God will get you through it, too. Ruby has the biggest, most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. She also seems like a content baby. This sounds kind of repetitive, but we will pray for your family's speedy recovery.
