It happened again!

Yes, it is the end of April. Yes, this is what it looked like out my window this weekend. Yes, my husband was planting corn the day before. Yes, I live in South Dakota!

Ah...the birds, the sunshine, rosy cheeks of kids playing outside.

Can you believe it? This is the most snow we had all winter - and it is OFFICIALLY spring, no?

We missed out on it. So glad it missed us, but feel for you guys over there. We woke up with just a dusting of snow the other day when you were getting this.
Hope it melts soon

We finally have some nice weather. It cool today, but looking great for the weekend. Hang in there, it has to end before October!

I drove thru that on the way to Pierre on Friday....25 mph for the first hour....YIKES! It sure is melting fast....hopefully it goes away and doesn't now again like they are forecasting for Friday.

That is way too long of a winter for me! I grew up in Chicago and remember long winters like that, but moved to TN in 1988 and love the weather here! Yeah, you did hear me get excited over an inch of snow here on my blog a couple of months ago, and I do miss snow, but not into April! You have my sympathies.

Aren't you so ready for a few days of 70 degrees that won't be followed by a snowstorm?!? Hate to complain honestly. We are grateful, but the fireplace is getting a little old!

I wish we could send you some of the HEAT we have been having. Southern CA is in a heat wave, in the 100's!

Yes please Sara...send us some heat!

I don't mind 100 degree weather. I HATE, HATE snow. I wonder everyday in the winter why I live in South Dakota.

Wait...it is suppose to be SPRING!!!
