Robb is building Brylie this closet for her room. She is thrilled about her new closet!
Since there was no fire escape upstairs, Robb made one in Hunter's room. (the outside windows were covered up when the addition was put on 15 years ago) They crawl out of this window onto the roof of the old house and down to the attic door and then throw out the fire ladder and climb down right by our bedroom. The kids think this is the ultimate in fire escapes! Robb even built a little platform for them to climb out on and a railing around it. Hopefully it will NEVER need to be used!
Yesterday my mom and I pulled out a record breaking amount of staples from the floor. Mom made it longer than I did. My hands were throbbing. Anyway, I will pull out some more today and tomorrow our cabinets and countertops will be here! WOOHOO! I can finally start cleaning and putting stuff back together. The next update pictures should be way more fun to look at!

I can't believe it's been 15 years since the addition was put on! I love the colors! Can't wait to see the next set of pictures!
THat looks SO DIFFERENT already! Did you fix the stairs so they are easier to go up and down? I always hated those stairs!!!! The living room looks so huge when there is no furniture in there. Are you going to keep the same furniture or did you buy some new stuff? I told Robb you guys need to get a hot tub for the hot tub room and we will come break it in!!!! Can't wait to see the finished thing and we will get together for supper after that! I know you are crazy busy right now!

The hot tub is outside and the spa room will be the nursery. We will use our furniture from here. None of the other furniture stayed.

It may have been easier to start over, but we would have never been able to afford this square footage. The living room is painted "latte". I went very neutral everywhere.
