Waiting for a sister can be SO hard!

Brylie came out of her room the other day with a full suitcase. When I asked her what she was doing she said, "I'm going to Ethiopia to get Ruby. I just can't wait any longer! I packed my toothbrush and my pajamas and even a stuffed animal for Ruby." I guess we're all getting a bit anxious!

That is precious!

Will you all go over to get her? I mean the kids too? Or will they stay in the states?

brylie, alone in ethiopia could probably find a little girl in need of a home and together get back to the states before the governments finish reading paperwork on the matter.

i'm just sayin'...you have options:0)

How sweet is that! At our house we sing the have patients song it goes
Have Patients, have patients,
dont be in such a hurry
for when your impatient you only start to worry
remember, remember that God has patiens too and think of all the times that others had to wait for you!

Too bad that she can't gage the amount of time it will take by the size of your belly! When Dana was in Iraq a lot of families would make paper chains either add a link every day daddy was gone or do it in reverse, the problem with that is if they got extended but i think that mom just added some links then. That may be fun for the kids to do, they could do something fun like write a little note to Ruby. Sorry for going on and on!

Brylie seems like such a sweet little soul!

Hey! Just found your blog through CHI. We were so excited to find another South Dakota family adopting from Ethiopia through CHI. We live in the Black Hills. How long did you wait for approval from CIS? We're about a month in there...just curious on what we have to look forward to! Nice to meet you!

I too just found your blog through CHI. We just brought our daughter home. It's wonderful. Our son also couldn't understand the wait. Just wanted to pop by and say hello. We live in MN about 100 miles east of Sioux Falls

I found you through CHI's blogroll.
I'm Amanda and I wanted to say-since your daughter's going to pick up Ruby, would she mind bringing back our kids too?!
;)

Of course, we'll pack bags for them-she won't have to do that.

(Nice to meet you, by the way).

Saw you at Shopko! What was the big hurry and did I see some construction things in the back of the truck? Hows it all coming? I can't wait to see the end result!
