Remodel Update
The tape and texture guy has been REALLY slow, so we are still waiting for him to get everything textured. He is also going to paint the kitchen, dining room, and master bedroom. We are hoping he will be done with everything by Thursday.
We are also tearing up all of the carpet in the house and replacing it. I am VERY excited about this because the carpet was quite worn and the bid was less than we thought. Yay! As you can see we still have to get that border off. That is on my list for tomorrow. Ugh! We will then have the walls textured and painted.
With the living room completely empty the kids just ran in circles while Robb and I worked. I can hardly wait to have all the extra space.
It looks so different already! I am used to all the furniture in there. Didn't realize just how big that room actually is. Can't wait to see the results and let me know if you want the princesses painted in Brylie's room. I would be more than willing to do it because I love painting them. Then maybe we can finally get together and do supper!!!
How nice---I bet you are so excited! Looking great!
BTW, I got some ideas for my transformer party from executivehomemaker.com She has some print outs as well. I used the bingo game and the boys loved it. And of course I stock up on things in good ole America as there is nothing here. Have fun!
I have been married for 13 years to my wonderful husband Robb and have 4 beautiful children. Hunter is 8, Brylie 7, Gage 4 and our Ethiopian princess, Ruby is 2. I was an elementary school teacher before entering the wonderful world of motherhood. I feel that I have the most gratifying job in the world. There are many challenges to this job, but I consider it to be a wonderful blessing to be able to spend every day with my children. We are currently in the process of adopting from Ethiopia again. Yay!

Ok first things first...that living room is HUGE! Wow!
And, the house looks so nice, why did it sit empty for so many years?
