After a lot of prayer and guidance from the Lord we have decided to add a fourth child to our family. We recently began the process to adopt a little girl from China. This has been a long process of praying and waiting on the direction of the Lord. Robb and I felt led to China and believe that is where our little girl is. We have such a peace about the whole process and are so excited to embark on this journey of a lifetime. Hunter and Brylie are thrilled and can't wait until she can come and live with us. Brylie asks everyday when her sister will be here and comes up with about 10 "perfect" names for her daily. :)
The reality is that we won't have her in our arms for about 2 years and there is a lot of paperwork to get done to get her here. We will see her picture and get information about her 2 months before we travel to China to bring her home with us. I am excited to share with you all of the milestones along the way.

How incredibly exciting! That is a long time to wait. Congrats.
Great!!! There will be another little cousin for Brooklyn and Cooper to play with! Congrats to you guys! How exciting this will be. How old is she right now? There is a little girl in Brooklyn's ballett class that is from China and her parents just adopted another little girl. Now Brooklyn thinks we need to adopt a little Chinese baby. We'll see. If God puts it on our hearts then of course! This will be exciting. Be sure to keep us posted and we want to see pictures as soon as you get some!!!!!
That is so exciting!! Some little girl is going to be so lucky getting such a wonderful family to love her and take care of her.
congratulations on this conception in your heart. i love you guys.
Congratulations!! I have 2 little girls in daycare that were adopted from China. They are precious!! Can't wait for you to be able to hold her in your arms!!
That is big news - Congratulations! Keep us posted!
How exciting! It's too bad the process takes so long though. My cousin adopted a little girl from India a few years ago and they have never regretted the decision. They feel so blessed to have her in their family and I am sure you will feel the same way about your little girl! It takes special people to do this and I am not surprised that God has chosen you for this journey.
That is so incredible, Teresa! Our church choir director and her husband adopted a little girl from China not too long ago and are in the process of adopting another one. She did say there was a long waiting period and a lot of paperwork, but it's all worth it.
Congratulations!
OH, I am so happy for you! My best friend is also adopting a girl from China. She is painting her room and getting ideas! We talk about her as if she has just gone on vacation and has always been here. I will pop over to your blog to see any latest happenings! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think I can breathe right now...
There is so much I want to say to you, but this little box won't hold it all. This is Alicia's dream.
Thank you Lord Jesus...thank you!
That is SO AWESOME!! I'd love to do the same... but we already have 4 lovely girls.... but if God put it in our hearts to do this... it would be so exciting... or should i say my hubby's heart!? A new baby is always on my heart, but I have to be able to manage them all!!! Well God Bless you all as you embark on this adventure!

Congratulations! This is very exciting news. We have a niece who is from China, and she is the most precious little girl! I am always amazed at the wait time when there are so many little girls there waiting for loving homes. My sister in law is currently expecting their next little girl sometime next year. I look forward to reading more about your journey!
That is so exciting, too bad you have to wait so long, by then I probably won't be living around here anymore so I won't be able to babysit! :( sad haha that is so great for you guys though, congratulations!!!
How exciting! And what an apropo scripture!
I have 2 friends...well you are related to one that has adopted from China and it has been an amazing thing to observe! What a wonderful thing you are doing. I will pray for you, your fam and your new little girl.
Wow! Congrats on your little one. I have the utmost respect for parents who provide loving arms for an unfortunate child of God. I wish you the best!
Wow! Congratulations! Our friends here have been going through that process- and finally will get their baby girl in just a few weeks after two years of waiting. She's only 7 months old and her three siblings are very eager to meet her. :)
Best wishes during the process- I'll look forward to reading about the journey, so I hope you blog about it often!
Oh Teresa, what a blessing for your family and for the little girl you will bring home to be your daughter!
One of my nieces was adopted from China almost 6 years ago and our family wouldn't give her up for the world!
I, too, hope to see updates!
Blessings to you for answering the Lord's call in your lives!
