New computer for Mom and Dad; New Fort for the Kids

We finally upgraded to a very nice Dell computer and I am thrilled about it! When the FedEx man brought the big box to the door the kids immediately started tearing it open. After telling them to calm down it was just a computer, they informed us that it was the box they were wanting. As soon as we pulled the new computer out, all three kids jumped into their new fort! This big box kept them busy for the next three days!

When will we get that about our children? It's not the toys with all the bells and whistles they want...no a box, a couple of pillows, some blankets, and maybe the broomstick for a weapon. Simple.

My kids dump out the huge tub of toys in the basement, much to my despair, and they all get into the empty tub and play.

I see your addicted to the blogging world! YEAH!!! I remember I had a pink pig toy box and would dump out all the toys and play in the pig for hours! Fun memories for your kids. My kids also love the 4 dining room chairs in the living room with a blanket thrown over them for a tent and read books.

Hi! I found my way to your blog through Noah Steven's (I know his mom from when she worked at my college...). Anyway, just wanted to write and say I've enjoyed reading your new blog and what they say is true: it's addicting! I started blogging for my family in October and haven't looked back:)

Oh boy, just wait! Enjoy these days to the fullest. I promise it will change. If only she would be happy with a BOX, haha

How cute! Your kids look so big, too!

My kids tried to take a big box into the backyard to sleep in a few months ago. They were all fired up about doing it until there were reports of a wild animal in the neighborhood. That pretty much nixed the whole plan.
