July
July is the month that we celebrate our freedom, the month that we welcomed our first born child into this world, my mom's birthday, barbecuing in the backyard, swimming at the lake, sunshine and sunburns, my oldest nephew's birthday, t-ball games, wheat harvest, long walks in the evening, family picnics, visits to the zoo, sipping iced tea, sunlight until 9 pm, family vacations, mosquitoes and biting flies, fresh vegetables from the garden, camp outs and bon fires, the month of celebrating summer.

that was VERY poetic teresa. i like it!
Love the list...the good (family vacations) AND the bad (mosquitos and biting flies) makes it a very REAL list! :)
I love summer...you make it sound glorious, mosquitoes and all.
I love how you did this list.
BTW...we (my mom, my hubby and I) took Alex to the Omaha Zoo yesterday. He had a blast. We'll have to check out the local ones too.
Happy 4th to you and yours from me and mine!
Have a Happy 4th of July!
