Legacy of An Adopted Child

Once there were two women who never knew each other. One you do not remember, the other you call mother. Two different lives shaped to make you one. One became your guiding star, the other became your sun. The first one gave you life and the second taught you to live it. The first gave you a need for love, the second was there to give it. One gave you a nationality, the other gave you a name. One gave you a talent, the other gave you aim. One gave you emotions, the other calmed your fears. One made an adoption plan, that was all she could do. The other prayed for a child and God led her straight to you. Now, which of these two women are you the product of? Both, my darling, both, just two different types of love.
(I apologize for not having the author for this beautiful piece.)

That was beautiful. I am still praying for your 4th blessing! I pray the time goes fast and you will be holding her in your arms soon!

precious... I love this... I have several friends who have adopted and I can't wait to share this with them. Found your blog on several others that I keep up with... thought I'd stop by and say "hi" ~ Kim

This is beautiful....someone sent it to me a few years ago. Chris told me you were adopting, so I had to check out your blog.

International adoption is close to my heart. Our daughter is from India. She has been home 3 1/2 years now, but the 23 month wait for her to get here was agonizing. The first time you touch you little girl will be like nothing you have ever experienced before.

I pray your process will move quickly. Who are you working with?

You have a beautiful family. Bless you!
