I'M BACK!
Hello everyone! I am doing MUCH BETTER this week. Hunter successfully finished his t-ball season with some SUPER wins. He really wishes the season would go on FOREVER!
Wheat harvest is going GREAT and should be done tomorrow. YEAH! The wheat looks WONDERFUL and the price is TERRIFIC! Praise God!
Our home inspection went REALLY WELL. Our social worker, Alicia, is really great and the whole process turned out to be very non-threatening, much to my worries! Hunter and Brylie did a GOOD JOB on their interview and kept Alicia smiling the whole time. She had to take them into another room to do their interview so I was a little nervous about some of their responses but she said they did a wonderful job and it is obvious they are both looking forward to the arrival of their little sister from China. We are one step CLOSER to our little girl!
This week is much more laid back. We have our nephew Booker staying with us for the week while his parents and sisters are at Bible Camp. He's been a little sad missing his family, but is having a FUN time playing with the kids. He is such a GOOD boy and it is a JOY having him around.
Anyway, nothing too exciting to post about today, just wanted to give you an update and thank you all for your well wishes during my crazy week last week. Can you believe tomorrow is AUGUST?!?!

Glad to see you are back! Congrats on being one step closer!!! I didn't realize Bryon and Kristi were gone. I bet Booker misses all of them!! Did you talk to Robb to see when would be a good time to do supper? Would a Sunday afternoon work better? We could always do Pizza Ranch and then go to our house so the kids can play. Let me know!
hey friend, i had no doubts you'd sail through it with flying colors. now if they still let you adopt after the things i told them about robb in my reference letter...hmmm, i'll have to wonder:-)
love you much!
are you still on board for august 16th? carrie is getting really excited!!
So glad things are going well...I am very excited for all of you in being one step closer to that beautiful baby girl!
Congratulations! So glad you're back!
August always hits and it feels like you can breath a sigh of relief from the summer chaos.....and then something else pops up. Football and volleyball practices, 4-H Achievement Days coming up next week so are busy trying to get a few last minute projects done and then trying to squeeze a last little vacation in.
Glad your SS visit went well....I knew the kids would do great on their interviews!
Tell Booker he can come stay with Chad and eat mushrooms with him....curious what kind of response you might get out of him. Courtney gets to take him (and Brad's boys) to the pool tomorrow. She's one brave teenage girl!
;o] August 1st already
