Big Dreams....

Hunter: "Mom, do the Wiggles make money singing and dancing?" Me: "Yes, that's their job." Hunter: "I want to be one of them when I get older." **(His dad will be so proud!)**

Which wiggle would he be? By looking at the picture, did the yellow wiggle change or does he just look really differant? Brooklyn was big into the Wiggles for awhile but now its all about Disney Princesses. I would rather watch the Wiggles than Barney! ;) So what did Robb say of Hunter's future plans?

For some reason with a name like Hunter...I think his dad may have had different aspirations for him. But ya never know...

On a side note- I've had a similar conversation like this about the Wiggles with my dad. Yes, he too wonders if these guys get paid for this and wonders where he missed the mark for a career in child entertainment. Seriously, my dad could SO be spectacular at stuff like this. I have never met a kid that DIDN'T like him and his silly antics.

When he reads to my kids, he often puts the book down and says, "good grief, if this is all it takes to write children's literature...I could write a book!"

And indeed he could. My kids request his made up stories over real ones.

SO- Are we going to get together when school's out?

I remember the days of WIGGLES...everything was WIGGLES. I wonder how the yellow Wiggle is doing. He's new since we've been through that phase.

You have to admit, it isn't such a bad gig! Smile and put your thumbs up - and get paid!

My son used to love the Wiggles. Still does, I think. You should see the post I wrote in December when Greg Wiggle left the bunch and Sam Wiggle took over. Yes, I know their names. Pathetic, isn't it.

So Greg did leave! Don't worry Aisha, I knew all the names just couldn't think of the yellow one right off hand. I missed it, what happened that Greg left?! Would someone please fill me in?

Is the Blue Wiggle new too? He doens't look like the Blue Wiggle that I remember...

Whoever really is interested in this:

Greg left late last year because of a diagnosed illness. The other Wiggles (and Capt. Feathersword) are the same. Couldn't tell you about Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog or Henry the Octopus.

There. Now I'm really hanging my head in shame...

Do you know what was wrong with Greg? Don't worry Aisha, I can top your shame. My sister loved to watch the Wiggles because she thought Greg was very cute. UUGGHH...

Last night Nathan told me how to make fruit salad. Very funny. He was telling me just like in the song.
"Eat up some apples
Eat the melons
Now there's nothing on your plate "

Good luck Hunter! (A boy's gotta dream) :)
