These are a few of Hunter's prayers lately. I thought they were worth sharing.
"Dear God, which is a fancy name for Father of Jesus, bless my family and heal my diabetes. Amen."
***************************************************************************************
"Dear Lord, I won't ever let those mean people put you on the cross ever again. Amen"
***************************************************************************************
And this one is after a night of playing the game Buckaroo. If you haven't played it, the object of the game is to try to get as many things as you can on Buckaroo's back before he bucks. (Buckaroo is a horse.)
"Dear God, I have a very, very, very important think to ask you...please help Buckaroo not to buck so much. Thank you. Amen."

Oh. Those were just darling prayers, including the third one.
Very precious. It's so good when kids are taught they can talk to God about anything and not just repeat the same ol prayer every night. "Now I lay me down to sleep..."
He is such an awesome kid. Can you imagine how all of heaven falls silent when a child is praying.
I can just picture all of the angels singing and celebrating and God sitting on his throne...when the soft sounds of a child's voice stirr the clouds and he shouts out, "Be still! One of my dearest children is talking to me."
Oh how his heart must rejoice in their love.
Teresa that is just darling! He is so amazing, he knows when he has to slow down and pray to God, I love that. Kids truly are a miracle!
Oh, how precious.
Sometimes my kids make me laugh with the prayers they come up with.
One night we were praying and said thank you God for mom, dad, Derek, Megan, Grandma and Grandpa and so on down the list of aunts, uncles, cousins, etc and then onto things like food, clothes, warm house, then they added in my parents dogs, and then other items and out of the blue Megan says and thanks for hang gliders. Derek and I busted out laughing. We didn't even think she knew what hang gliders were.
Gotta love it...at least he didn't add, "and please help my sister not be so mean." Not like that's ever happened at our house or anything...
He is too cute.
Those are awesome!! I just love Hunter. He is such a great guy.
Thank you God for giving Hunter to our family. Amen
So sweet!
When Ashley was 6 and Jonathan was 3 we made a bad decision—we went by someone else's recommendation and let them watch the movie Shrek. They had never seen a PG movie and I thought it was way too crass. That night Jonathan prayed, "Thank you for my favorite movie Shrek and thank you that we can watch it over and over again."
Very sweet and such a precious picture. I think my Blake and Hunter would get along well. Blake prays in a very similar manner. I just love it!
