First Grade Basketball
The first graders had a fun basketball game a couple weeks ago. Hunter's uncle Wesley was one of the coaches who had worked with these kids a few Saturdays teaching basic ball handling skills. The game was so fun to watch and the kids had a blast playing against their classmates. I love that Wesley has a heart for these kids and sees the benefits of starting them young. Hunter and his 2 cousins, Booker and Nash, had a super fun time and it was a glimpse into the future seeing them play ball together. Go young Chargers!
we thankfully don't have to start organized basketball until next year with nic. i can't imagine what skills would be like in first grade...wow, does wesley have the patience of job?
GO CHARGERS!!! Just think, in a few years they will be playing for real... scary! It was fun to watch. I will have to get some of the pictures from this event up. I have a couple way cute ones of Ruby - not sure what I had from Hunter???
I have been married for 13 years to my wonderful husband Robb and have 4 beautiful children. Hunter is 8, Brylie 7, Gage 4 and our Ethiopian princess, Ruby is 2. I was an elementary school teacher before entering the wonderful world of motherhood. I feel that I have the most gratifying job in the world. There are many challenges to this job, but I consider it to be a wonderful blessing to be able to spend every day with my children. We are currently in the process of adopting from Ethiopia again. Yay!

What a fun time for them!!! Cooper can't wait to start playing sports! He is already kicking a soccer ball around in the basement!

I gotta admit, it is alot of fun for the kids, but its pretty fun to watch those young kids play too! Pretty cute!
So fun having boys that are into sports. We just entered the First Grade sport's arena with Blake and he is having a ball (pun intended).
Lots of fun!
