Fireproof

Have you seen this movie yet? There are very few movies that I absolutely love and want to see again...but this one tops the list for me. It is a very well written, well acted out film with an amazing story line. I would HIGHLY recommend this movie to anyone. It is a story of a couple whose marriage is falling apart and neither one of them have the desire to save it. The husband is played by Kirk Cameron. His father in the movie challenges him to a 'love dare' that ultimately shows him the importance of having God in our relationships. It is so, so good. Bring tissues.

My husband and I are going tomorrow after he gets off work. It has been sold out for 3 weeks in SF. So hopefully we will get in. It leaves Thurs so. We watched Facing the Giants at home. That was a very good one too. That one kinda touch us cause of the trouble they had getting pregnant. They say another one to watch is Flywheel. They are all done by the same guy I guess. I will let you know what we think. We did have a really bad fight this weekend, so this will probably be good for us. Things were said that shouldn't have been, more by me but I defend myself by saying the subject is cleaning and with being pregnant working a full time job and tired I lost my temper. Even though I shouldn't use it as an excuse but it is hard to control emotions when hormones are playing against you. Anyways now that I have said more than I anticipated I will let you know what we think.

I have heard nothing but rave reviews about this one. I'm hoping to go see it before it's out of the theaters!

such cool facts surrounding it as well. it's total budget was $500,000. the only professional actor in the movie is cameron. all the others are members of a church in atlanta, i believe. the movie has already made 21 million dollars. all from a church's desire to change a culture. who says God doesn't sell?

and no, i haven't seen it yet.

It was great!!!! We saw you guys walk in. I think even Craig was holding back tears!!! I love how at the end the pastor was the same guy that played the coach in Facing the Giants. I recognized a few other faces that played in both movies. I can't wait for it to come out on video. What I think is cool is that here in Wtn. it sold so many tickets it bumped HSM3 from the big theater into one of the smaller ones. Now that should speak volumes to a theater that wasn't even going to bring it to town!!!!
