Labor Day weekend
We spent Labor Day weekend in Omaha for a mini vacation. Robb and the kids and I took in the zoo, a jungle safari, some shopping, eating out, and hotel fun. Omaha is a such a fun place with so many things to do. We are already planning on going back next summer. Here are some pictures of our adventures.

What great vacation pictures . . . the one of Hunter with the gorillas scared me for a minute until I realized they were fake! : ) Memories to treasure.
what a great idea. we enjoyed our trip down there too, but didn't take in as much activity...we definitely should have stayed longer when we went!
How fun! My favorite animals at that zoo are the chimpanzees!
You drove south and didn't even stop here to say hi??????? Hmmm... ;-)
Glad you had fun. Alex loved that zoo when we took him about two months ago. Actually, I think he loved the train.
Wow, looks like a lot of fun!
We spent Labor Day weekend with my hubby's family, so when I get my pictures up, you'll have to stop over because I finally took some of my niece Anna!!
Also, I wanted to check and see if your Southern Living magazine started to arrive yet.
After seeing the Cabelas picture I now understand what kind of shopping you did. :)
I've always wanted to go to that zoo - I bet the kids loved it.
I love the Omaha Zoo. Looks like you all had a great time!!
I would love to take the kids there next summer. We should plan a trip together and go!!! Tsk, Tsk, you didn't stop to see Just Mom. I told you she wants us all to come down sometime!!!
Great pictures! I have never taken my kids there...do you think they are too old now?
It's a good thing you got one last little mini vacation in before harvest hits!
Just popping over again to let you know I have some family pictures taken. There is one with Quintin and two of his cousins - Anna is on the left, its not a real good picture, though. I can't believe she'll be 7 next month!
Have a great weekend!!
Those are great pictures. I've never been there. I think I'll put it on my MUST DO list for next summer.
Your kids look like they are growing like crazy! What a great vacation. Little Gage is not so little anymore :( He looks just like his momma..so sweet!
that looks like an awful lot of fun!! When I was a kid we used to watch a wildlife show called Mutual of Omaha...who knows...maybe it was filmed at this zoo...
I like the new coffee pot..I agree with you on KitchenAid.
anything new on the adoption??
