Mother Daughter Tea
On Saturday our church hosted a lovely Mother Daughter Tea. The decorations were beautiful, the message was inspiring, the food was delicious and the time spent with my mother and daughter was wonderful!
My mom joined us.
Brylie looked beautiful in all of her pink!
My sister-in-law, Kristi, gave a wonderful message about the importance of passing on a spiritual heritage to our daughters. Our daughters are facing things that we never had to face. We need to prepare them for the many, important decisions they will be making during their teenage years. It is so important to arm them with the word of God so that they can base their decisions on what it says in the Bible.
My mother-in-law, Corinne, my mom, Pat, myself and Brylie. Brylie is blessed to have two wonderful grandmas that love her so much.
My little girl is such a precious gift!
It was so nice to see you briefly at the mother daughter Tea this weekend. Brylie is getting to big and beautiful as ever. I agree the message was inspirational.
Funny thing....we were at Scott and Candices last night with Bryon and Kristi. We were playing shuffle board and Kristi is very competitive. I had to remind her on when she mentioned that our daughters will mimic us and we have to be careful how we act. She didn't think I was too funny!!! BWAHAHAHAA.
Brylie looked so pretty. My batteries died in my camera before I could get any pictures. Bummer. Yeah, Craig said that Robb told him you had to go buy a new outfit. Hey, whatever excuse we can use to go shopping is always a good one. Your outfit was adorable by the way. Glad you girls had as much fun as we did!
I have been married for 13 years to my wonderful husband Robb and have 4 beautiful children. Hunter is 8, Brylie 7, Gage 4 and our Ethiopian princess, Ruby is 2. I was an elementary school teacher before entering the wonderful world of motherhood. I feel that I have the most gratifying job in the world. There are many challenges to this job, but I consider it to be a wonderful blessing to be able to spend every day with my children. We are currently in the process of adopting from Ethiopia again. Yay!
