ya know the question came up over and over of whether 'you could make room', whether 'you could help'...
i really believe that there are millions of americans who would help---it is so sad that the governments have made it about buraucracy and money, instead of children.
it certainly does not excuse our obligations to these children...it just breaks my heart because so many more could have homes.
thanks for sharing a piece of your heart with us. ruby is one blessed little girl.
So you're having a birthday party the day after you move in? you are either very ambitious or...hehe! It will be nice to be back in I'm sure. Can't wait to see the pictures!
Heidi, It is so true that the governments have made it about money. It has frustrated us from the beginning but it doesn't change the fact that these babies need families to take care of them. The innocent suffer because of the politics of all of it. Sad.
I have been married for 13 years to my wonderful husband Robb and have 4 beautiful children. Hunter is 8, Brylie 7, Gage 4 and our Ethiopian princess, Ruby is 2. I was an elementary school teacher before entering the wonderful world of motherhood. I feel that I have the most gratifying job in the world. There are many challenges to this job, but I consider it to be a wonderful blessing to be able to spend every day with my children. We are currently in the process of adopting from Ethiopia again. Yay!

We brought our "orphan" home April 25, 06 - our adoption should be finalized next month!
Thanks for the PSA - so many people just don't take the time to know the horror of what these babies live! :(
Thanking the Lord for you and all of my dear friends who are "bringing their children home"
